Marshall Motor Group PLC
Darren managed the seamless integrated of the multi-site location in Bournemouth Dorset into the public company following takeover. He Reassessed key objectives and implemented a focused target approach including customer service initiatives including social media integration coupled with new system modernisation, strategic marketing and training plans. This resulted in an increase in revenue streams, profitability and both colleague and consumer satisfaction within a nine-month period.
Darren was responsible at board level for managing six businesses across Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire employing 209 colleagues with a turnover of £152 Million. In the period he grew turnover by £28Million year on year, volume sales by 20% and profitability 19%. Darren achieved this by the implementation of staff & consumer-centric cultures along with a dynamic digital reporting system to enable a responsible process overhaul.
Darren joined the group to oversee and manage the growth of a multi-channel privately owned automotive business that included a multi-site retail car operation and a manufacturing and distribution Motorhome plant. Darren was instrumental in modernising the overall group, overhauling the manufacturing and production side of the assembly plant and expanding the distribution network growing all channels of revenue contribution.
