Grant is a passionate advocate of the UK manufacturing industries and has accumulated over 40 years of experience within many challenging environments. His early experience as an engineer within the electronics industries provided a platform for Grant to further develop his career and he has held a number of senior roles including Operations Manager, Quality Supply Manager and Operations Director.
For the last 20 years Grant has taken his passion for people and continuous Improvement into a broad cross section of industries and has held key accounts in Retail, Farming and Horticulture, Health Care and many of the varied and challenging manufacturing and production industries in the UK, Europe and the USA.
Grant is also a recognised Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and this disciplined approach to business improvement pared with his people focused approach has enabled him to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions and develop meaningful and lasting relationships with his clients.

Group Master Black Belt for a global automotive and polymers company
Responsible for training and mentoring of Lean Six Sigma Green and Black belt practitioners across the group delivering operational growth and sustainability solutions for locations in the USA and the UK. The project focuses on driving increased output and enhancing product and service quality to a global market in excess of $120m.
Design to Manufacture
Initiative was a 5 year funded public and private sector partnership with the objective of sustaining business activity and employment within the UK’s creative industries. Focusing on the interiors design and manufacturing community, the initiative brokered business relationships between the design community and manufacturing industries. Grant designed and delivered the award winning collaborative project which resulted in numerous spin off public and private sector projects.
Product Commercialisation Program
Heading up a team of specialist advisors,Grant was responsible for the “Product Commercialisation” of numerous products manufactured in and around the London region. Ranging from furniture to lighting, clothing and food products, Grant’s expertise in “Product Scale up” through to product identity and branding was a key success factor for the start-up and SME business participating in the programme.
Sustainable Farming
Working with a UK farming and distribution group turning over in excess of $100m pa, the two year project was delivered with a specific focus of increasing yield and reducing costs for specific crops. Cost down demand from high street supermarkets places complex challenges on UK farming industries and the application of Lean and Continuous Improvement proved to be the winning formula which continues to deliver increased margins and profit.
