Some of Steve’s Projects:

Business Growth Funding

Working with the board of a fast paced telecoms company, Steve prepared full business plans and secured £50m blended debt and growth fund with HSBC in 2015 and Rothschild in 2017.

Integration of subsidiaries

Steve was engaged to integrate two acquired SME subsidiaries and to develop one of the three operating divisions, which was a leveraged but recovering full-list PLC in IT, e-commerce, media, high volume payment processing, logistics, consumer products and outsourcing services. Steve participated in achieving the successful sale of the Group in 2011.

Buy, Build, Exit

Steve was involved in a very satisfying buy, build, exit project involving continuous careful management of a leveraged environment throughout the period of PE ownership.  Steve was engaged to restructure the business funding arrangements for a company and to carve-out a subsidiary from an ailing owner, to become a portfolio investment of a private equity PE provider.  Steve transformed the loss making company through significant growth in turnover and return to substantial profit.  Steve then led the sale of the company through production of IM, market creation, due diligence, price negotiation, legalsand hand over to the new owners.

NASDAQ IPO

Steve worked as the COO for a rapidly expanding company developing blackboxtechnology and software applications behind the transmission of secure banking, ecommerce transactions and digital documents. Following the acquisition of a cutting edge Irish software company, the combined entity changed its name and Steve was a key participant in its hugely successful Nasdaq IPO.  As a VP of the world-wide organisation, Steve delivered 45% of the company’s global business with 150 employees across EMEA, APAC and US. Steve developed mechanisms for fast growth income streams and the roll-out of the operational model. Steve established fee earning teams for consulting, systems integration and client support in UK, Dublin, Amsterdam, Boston and San Mateo.
